The cinema sector is breathing again. Although prophets of doom predicted the end of cinema and proclaimed the victory of streaming services during the corona crisis, two blockbusters are currently hitting top marks. ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ is on its way to reach the 200,000 mark, ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ attracted more than 70,000 film fans in five days. And that turns out not to be in spite of, but even a little thanks to corona.
