A man was caught breaking into a gas station storage room in Berlin. According to the police, the perpetrator gained access to the storage room around 5:50 p.m., i.e. during the opening hours of the petrol station in Berlin-Marzahn.
When the 43-year-old employee at the gas station also went into the storage room to get goods, he noticed the man and wanted to confront him. According to the police, the 43-year-old was injured in the face and ribs in the ensuing scuffle, and the stranger was able to escape.
The man stole money and cigarettes, police said on Sunday.
