CIFF x Revolver host showroom during New York Fashion Week

Scandinavian fair Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) x Revolver will enter the new world of New York for the first time as the organization prepares to host a showroom during the upcoming fashion week in the US city.

The event takes place from September 7th to 9th and the company is collaborating with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) on the occasion, with further support from the Danish trade association Wear.

A 20 square meter showroom in SoHo brings together 12 Danish brands and six CFDA-selected US brands, all chosen for their shared commitment to sustainability, under one roof.

The women’s fashion labels Helmstedt, Nynne, Birgitte Herskind, Storm & Marie and A Roege Hove as well as the men’s fashion brands Isnurh, Berner Kuhl and Han Kjobenhavn will be represented, as will the shoe label Vinny’s and the cosmetics brand Rudolph Care.

The USA is represented by M. Patmos, Charles Harbison, Melissa Joy Manning, Julia Jentzsch, Jahnkoy and Hope For Flowers.

The showroom builds on CIFF x Revolver’s ongoing efforts to promote international events for their local brands to challenge the traditional role of trade shows by supporting a global network.

‘Our world has never been so connected…’

“Our world has never been so connected, but also never so dependent on us working together,” says Exhibition Director Speaking on this latest partnership, Sofie Dolva. “It is a privilege to work with our friends at CFDA to showcase the creativity and innovation of Danish design, and a responsibility to use our collective voice to promote fundamental positive change to protect the future of the industry that we all love and cherish so much.”

The announcement came weeks after the conclusion of CIFF’s SS24 show, the first show to take newly acquired Revolver company firmly under its wing.

Both the exhibitors and the organizers reported an increase in international visitors and a greater variety of buyers compared to the previous events, including those from the USA.

Since the merger of the two fairs, CIFF has been driving its shared vision “One Copenhagen”, which aims to unify the city’s retail infrastructure for brands and buyers.
