The Dutch-speaking church Shelter for Sexual Abuse of Minors in Pastoral Relationships has been contacted approximately 180 times about sexual abuse within the church since the broadcast of the report ‘Godforgotten’. Mia De Schamphelaere, coordinator of the communal shelter, said this in the Parliamentary Committee on Sexual Abuse in the Church and Beyond.
