Christoph Daum: My battle with cancer is like a football match – Breaking Football news

Christoph Daum, in his statement, stated that his son had a very good treatment process in the USA, where he went for the graduation ceremony, and that he continued his treatment in Germany.

Stating that he started receiving chemotherapy for the second time at the University Clinic in Cologne, the 69-year-old German technical man said, “The last two weeks have not been easy. They took good care of me in the USA. They provided me with complete care in the hospital. There was a problem of shortness of breath. Afterwards, there was a problem on the way back to Germany. “The return was difficult. We couldn’t find a plane. Even though it was a bit difficult, I managed to reach Cologne.” said.

Explaining that he received chemotherapy in the treatment of lung cancer, Daum said, “I feel healthier now. I take almost a handful of drugs in addition to chemotherapy. We will have a check-up next week and analyze the results with my doctor.” he said.

The experienced technical man, who stated that he was behind many people from Turkey and the world, but could not answer all of them, continued as follows:

“I see my fight against cancer as a football match. When I was a coach, we used to play two games a week. The ambition and determination in football was my biggest motivation in my fight against cancer. Right now, there is a tough match and I believe I will win it. There is no giving up in football or this disease. “

Daum added that he conveyed his greetings to football fans in Turkey who loved him and sent “get well soon” messages.
