Christmas tree on the Grote Markt in Kortrijk today…

The Christmas tree is 18.5 meters high and until today it was still in the garden of Paul and Marie-José in the Vrijdagweg in Kortrijk. The tree is almost 40 years old and was felled in the early evening. Then a special transport came to pick up the tree and place it on the Grote Markt that evening.

The fact that the tree is now leaving feels a bit strange, although Paul and Marie-José are also happy because in inclement weather the tall tree started to wobble a lot. Their garden is therefore a bit safer without the tree.
