UPDATEThe Leuven police received a panicked phone call from a woman on Sunday, December 24. She had found a friend Emmanuel D. (43) dead. She made that nasty discovery in the victim’s apartment on the third floor of an apartment building on Edelzangslaan in Kessel-Lo. According to the public prosecutor’s office, it is a case of murder. His death comes as a complete surprise to a friend: “Is anyone arguing with him? No, never, I can’t imagine that.”
