Seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton was a very happy man on Sunday. Hamilton, 41, took his first win for Ferrari when he was number one at the Spanish GP.
Hamilton received the achievement emotionally. The British coach broke down in tears during the podium ceremonies.
Hamilton’s celebrations were also accompanied by one special program number.
– When Lewis walked past me, I heard a very familiar female voice with a strong Yankee accent ask: “How do you feel now?” Lewis was quick to reply: “Unbelievable,” the Australian photographer Kym Illman told on Instagram.
Illman referred to how Hamilton’s new girlfriend Kim Kardashian had been in contact with him immediately after the Spanish GP ended.
– Kim was one of the first people to call him, Illman noted.
Kardashian was there a week ago in Monaco, when Hamilton drove second. Kardashian, who became known as a celebrity in the social circle, caused confusion in the Monaco F1 pit when, among other things, she “stole” the towel reserved for the winner of the race, Andrea Kimi Antonelli.
Kardashian later apologized for what happened when she sent Antonelli a towel dedicated to him.
According to newspaper reports, Kardashian, 45, and Hamilton have been dating for several months. Kardashian was previously in a relationship with rap artist Kanye West.
