Mariah Carey has already mentally arrived at the Christmas season. Now she has performed her hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You” live at the Billboard Music Awards and has infected everyone in attendance a little more with her winter mood.
“Christmas came early this year”
It was the song’s award show debut – Carey had never performed the classic live on stage at such an event before. Now she performed it with lots of eye-catchers. With dancers (supposedly) skating around her, the 54-year-old sang her track in a white mini dress in front of a winter wonderland backdrop. On top of that with the sung “Fireplace” and sleigh on the stage.

Chart Achievement Award for Mariah Carey
In addition to the “All I Want For Christmas Is You” surprise for the audience, Mariah Carey also had a reason to be happy. Hers was this year’s Chart Achievement Award awarded.
