The Christmas calendars have arrived in stores, even though October is not even halfway over yet. If the trend of the past Christmases holds true this year as well, the hit calendars will be sold out, so you shouldn’t delay the purchase of your favorite too much.
This year, one particularly interesting novelty arrives on the Christmas calendar market, which may very well become this year’s hit. Cloetta is selling a loose candy Christmas calendar, which the buyer can fill with as many candies as they can fit in the door. The calendar is not weighed, but is sold at a fixed price.
– The calendar is filled with your own favorite candies on the Candyking Premium Mix bulk candy shelf so that the lid closes, says Cloetta’s communications manager Marja Piironen For Pippuri.fi.
The loose candy calendars have already arrived in stores, and there are a limited number of them on sale.
Tony’s Chocolonely, which produces chocolate responsibly, is also a newcomer to the Christmas calendar market.
Tony’s Chocolonely’s chocolate calendar contains 24 individually packed Tiny Tony’s chocolates in ten flavors. The chocolates are made from Fair Trade chocolate and there is also one empty hatch to remind us of the human rights problems related to the chocolate industry.
A new Christmas calendar has also appeared from Panda, which especially spoils the lovers of salmiakki lactrice. The Choco&Licorice calendar contains Panda’s various chocolate-Salmiaki licorice balls.
Healthier options
Foodin’s calendars are also interesting new products, which will be sold in two different versions: Better snacks and raw chocolate.
The Better Snacks calendar contains various protein and snack bars as well as various nibbles, such as nuts and berries and fruits covered with raw chocolate.
The raw chocolate Christmas calendar, on the other hand, contains 24 different chocolate treats made in Finland. Among other things, various raw chocolate bars are included.

Last year, the Fazer Patukat calendar became a hit, and it will retain its popularity this Christmas as well.

There are 15 different types of bars in the Fazer Bars calendar. There are a total of 24 bars in the calendar.
One of last year’s hits, Elovena’s porridge calendar is also available again, this Christmas with a new illustration made by an artist, pattern designer and art director from Tampere Hanna-Riikka Heikkilä. Elovena’s Christmas calendar includes portioned instant porridge.
Pilti’s Christmas calendar, which has become popular again, and Lidl’s hit calendar Favorina, which has been selling well for several years, and which contains Fair Trade candies, are also on sale.
The chipmunk Christmas calendar, which was wild the last couple of Christmases, will not be seen in stores this year. This year, instead of a calendar, Taffel is investing in its fan shop, whose product selection will expand for the Christmas season.
