Another single from Christin Nichols, “Bittere Pillen”, will be released on Friday (November 14th). The singer recorded it together with Gwen Dolyn. The video for the song can be seen from Thursday (November 13th).
The bittersweet song with a jagged NDW tone is a reckoning with the self-sabotage of modern love and a MeToo indictment from the perspective of the perpetrators of how they exploit the desire of their victims. As the song goes: “I would love to be in love with you // Get me high otherwise it won’t work // Give me sweet wine and bitter pills.”
Christin Nichols is known as an actress, voice actress, composer and singer. The German-British singer will release her third, self-titled album as a solo singer on March 6, 2026. Most recently, the single “Cheerleader” was released as a precursor.
Christin Nichols and Stefan Ernst from Isolation Berlin have been working on the new songs since autumn 2024. The musician says of the new material: “This album is exactly me at this point in my life.”
After the dissolution of her electropunk band Prada Meinhoff is on the move as a solo singer. Her debut album “I’m Fine” was released in 2022, followed two years later by “Save yourself, who can” (2024). The musician combines influences from post-punk and wave with dark, expansive pop and intimate, chanson-like moments.
