Christianity is not that obvious

We see Christianity as a tightly organized church, with centuries-old traditions that have remained unchanged since its inception. But each age had its own Christianity. The first thousand years of religion, in particular, were not nearly as orderly as we think. In fact, the religion then went through a number of intensive transformations. Does Christianity Have a True Identity?
