The drunk driver who killed two cycling friends in Ghent on Sunday brings up strong emotions for Christian Gillis (48). In the split second that his cycling comrades Eddy (68) and Erik (59) were out of his field of vision, they were also hit. The two were killed instantly. “I got on my knees next to them, with my hand on Eddy’s back,” Christian says about this for the first time at HLN. He has three messages for fellow sufferers.
