Comedian Chris Rock continues his stand-up tour as the dust from the Oscar gala scandal begins to settle.

Rock has been in the headlines since Will Smith beat him at the Oscars on March 27th. Rock was at the gala handing out the award when he said on stage that Smith had been offended by his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

Smith has since apologized for his behavior, applied to a care facility and received a 10-year gate ban at the Oscars. Rock, in turn, has remained silent. He said briefly at his previous stand-up gig that he was still dealing with what had happened.

In his latest performance in Indiana, California, Rock said he wants compensation if he plans to talk about the case. However, he threw a little slander on the subject.

– I’m fine, I have a whole show and I’m not going to talk about it until I’m paid. Life is good. I got my hearing back, Rock said.

During his gig, Rock joked at the expense of Hillary Clinton, the Kardashian family and Meghan Markle, among others. The audience applauded while standing at the end of the performance. Rock’s tour was scheduled before the Oscars. Ticket sales for the gigs accelerated soon after the gala.
