His agent Chad Colvin announced the news in a touching post on Facebook.

Without Chris and his enthusiasm and dedication, I wouldn’t be where I am now. The praise you are reading on his page right now is proof of how much he was loved and how he could make anyone feel special. Brother, I will miss you more than you can ever imagine.”

Gauthier has been an actor for the small and big screen, giving face and voice to various characters in series Harper’s Island, Sanctuary, A series of unfortunate events, Legends of Tomorrow, Charmed And Joe Pickett. But it is with the roles of the Toymaker Of Smallvilleof the gourmet chef Vincent in Eureka and of Mr. Smee in One Upon a time (Once Upon a Time), that the actor becomes known as he currently was.

His loss is felt not only by his fans, but also by all those of us who were fortunate enough to know him more personally.”
