Choukoud chooses Amsterdam Marathon and will defend national title

Marathon runner Khalid Choukoud will appear at the start of the Amsterdam marathon. The 36-year-old athlete will thus defend his national title.

“I prefer running a new personal best over participating in the World Cup and European Championship next summer. In addition, the TCS Amsterdam Marathon always gives me a wonderful feeling,” says Choukoud. Last year, Choukoud became national champion in Amsterdam in a time of 2 hours, 10 minutes and 25 seconds. Choukoud is currently in good shape. Last weekend he ran a personal best in the ten kilometers in Manchester: 28 minutes and 35 seconds.

This year’s 46th edition of the Amsterdam Marathon will take place on Sunday, October 16.
