Choosing to be Optimistic

Optimism is a state of mind that provides strength and self-confidence to achieve what we set out to do and never lose hope. It is a great tool because it convinces us that dreams are always within our reach and are possible.

Optimistic people are characterized by not being afraid of problems and bringing out their creativity and positive energy to solve them. They remain strong in the face of adversity; This does not mean that they do not give in, but that they take an attitude of learning and resilience to move on. They trust that everything will turn out in the best possible way and that is what they attract into their life.

Undoubtedly, optimism helps us develop a broad mind and willing to reform as many times as necessary.

There is a concept that I like, the “Intelligent Optimism”, which refers to an attitude of action and change to see the world as it is, but with the conviction and confidence that this reality can improve. It is an attitude that allows you to believe, trust and develop behaviors to generate opportunities.

On the contrary, a pessimistic person is characterized by being conformist, not aspiring to anything else. It remains dominated by the fear of facing the challenges of life. He always sees the glass as half empty and lets opportunities pass him by. Live immersed in hopelessness and discouragement, causing possible states of anxiety and depression. Faced with difficult situations, she becomes convinced that everything is going to go wrong.

The good thing is that being an optimist or a pessimist is a life choice. It is up to us to decide how we want to start each day and decide through which lenses we want to see reality. Optimism is about a proactive state of mind. It is not enough just to put it in our thoughts; we must do our best to make things happen.

An optimistic attitude has a great impact on every aspect of your life, especially health. Optimistic people have better recovery from surgeries and illnesses, and even decrease relapses.

You choose what life you want to have: be optimistic or pessimistic, with the consequences that each decision generates.
