Choose your ideal DFB team against Hungary!

On Saturday evening (8:45 p.m. / RTL) the German national football team will end the first half of the group stage of the Nations League against Hungary. Against the Magyars, Hansi Flick finally wants to get back on the road to success. Although the national coach is still undefeated (8 wins/3 draws) after the games against Italy (1:1) and England (1:1), a win would do the DFB team good.

Which players should Flick trust in the starting XI? Which stars belong on the bench? choose at sport.de now your dream eleven for the duel with Hungary.

After successfully qualifying for the final round of the World Cup, it’s now time to find the right players for the big tournament. Flick has nominated 26 players, but BVB captain Marco Reus will have to pass injured, as he did last time. The 33-year-old suffered a torn muscle in his right thigh while preparing for the game. Reus is therefore not an option in our voting.

Even if Flick can’t draw from the full, the DFB team is certainly going into the game as a favourite. However, it is not an easy task. At the start of the group stage, Hungary surprised with a 1-0 win against England, most recently it was a narrow 2-1 defeat in Italy.

Will BVB newcomer Adeyemi get a chance?

In order to kidnap the points from Budapest, the German offensive in particular must radiate more danger. One of the most exciting questions should therefore be who Flick will send onto the lawn in the front row.

Will BVB newcomer Karim Adeyemi, who didn’t make the squad against England, have a chance? Is Flick back to Kai Havertz in the middle of the storm? Or will Timo Werner return to the starting lineup?

Central defense is also hard fought. Antonio Rüdiger seems set under Flick, but with Niklas Süle, Nico Schlotterbeck, Thilo Kehrer, Jonathan Tah and Lukas Klostermann, many competitors are looking for a place alongside the future real star.

Vote now! We will present your dream team in good time before the game sport.de!

On June 14, the second half of the group phase begins for the German team with a home game against Italy. The other two games will only increase in September.
