From never being allowed to choose to co-decide about municipality, province and country: Mohammad is reeling. Lucas Dickmann is going to do something about that. He is a history teacher in Haarlem and knows everything about the importance of our democracy.
The provincial elections will be held on March 15. But what does the Province actually do for us and how can we influence this by casting our vote? This is not clear to Carmen, Teuntje and Mohammad. None of the three have previously voted provincially. In the series ‘Choose!’ In nine episodes, NH Nieuws will search with them for more insight into the work of the province. So that they can enter the voting booth with sufficient knowledge on election day. In this fifth episode, new Dutchman Mohammad gets a lesson in social studies.
