In the 4th week of Group I of the last 16 rounds of the Basketball Champions League, TOFAŞ lost 77-74 away to France’s Cholet Basket team.
Leading 13-7 in the first quarter of the match played at La Meilleraie Hall in Cholet town, the home team went into the halftime with a 34-27 advantage.
Cholet Basket widened the gap in the third quarter and entered the final period ahead 57-44. TOFAŞ, which showed a scoring performance in the last quarter, became a partner in the match and tied the game at 74-74 with 39 seconds left. The French representative won the match 77-74 with the points he scored in the last seconds.
With this result, Cholet Basket got its second victory. TOFAŞ experienced its second defeat.
