After slipping up last year, the German dressage team took the lead again at the CHIO in Aachen.
Led by double Olympic champion Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (Aubenhausen), the German team prevailed after the Grand Prix Special in the country classification ahead of defending champions Denmark and Great Britain.
With von Bredow-Werndl, who rode as the clear favorite with Dalera to first place in the individual classification, Frederic Wandres (Hagen aTW) with Bluetooth, the seven-time Olympic champion Isabell Werth (Rheinberg) with Quantaz and Sönke Rothenberger (Bad Homburg) with Fendi made sure of the German victory.
