Juventus have signed Timothy Weah from LOSC Lille

Comes from LOSC Lille

Juventus have unveiled Timothy Weah as their first signing for next season. The 23-year-old arrives from LOSC Lille and has signed a five-year contract. According to official information from the Italians, a transfer fee of 10.3 million euros is due for Weah, which can rise to as much as 12.4 million euros. In addition, unspecified ancillary costs of up to one million euros are incurred.

Weah, son of former world footballer George, is leaving Lille after four years of scoring eight goals and eight assists in 107 games. The right-footed player is a trained attacker, but last season he was mainly used on the two defensive sides. That didn’t deter him, instead the most recent market value update for Ligue 1 went up from €12m to the current €14m, which is close to his personal best of €15m (December 2021). Before Weah, Juve already fixed the transfers of Manuel Locatelli, Moise Kean and Arkadiusz Milik after previous loans (to all transfers 2023/24).
