US intelligence agencies have discovered that the Chinese spy balloon that flew over the United States in early 2023 used a US internet service provider to send short, periodic transmissions of navigation and location data to China. An American official stated this to ‘CNN’, but the news channel was unable to find out which internet provider was involved.
