In the Chinese city of Zhengzhou, several neighborhoods have been placed in lockdown due to a coronavirus outbreak that has sparked violent protests. People living in the city center are no longer allowed to leave the area without a negative corona test and permission from the local authorities. They were advised not to leave their homes “unless necessary”.
