China has put seven Taiwanese officials on its sanctions list for supporting the island’s independence, China’s state-run Xinhua news agency reported. Among those sanctioned are Hsiao Bi-khim, Taiwan’s unofficial ambassador to Washington, and Wellington Koo, the secretary-general of Taiwan’s National Security Council.
