The Chinese government does not consider it to be a safe medium

They want to maintain control of the flow of information in a secure way

Elon Musk revealed that Chinese government authorities have directly challenged him not to sell Starlink, his satellite internet service in China. According to statements to the Financial Times and collected by The Verge, “Beijing has made clear its disapproval of its recent deployment of Starlink… in Ukraine” and “asked for guarantees that it would not sell Starlink in China.”

Musk has not clarified whether he finally accepted the request that was issued to him from Beijing, but on the starlink services web page it seems that there is no plan to roll out in chinawhile in other countries such as Taiwan, Mongolia or Vietnam it does appear.

Starlink is used to circumvent the problems that could be caused by conventional service providers: That is, they could avoid regional internet blockades, something that would be a problem in China, since the country has strict control over what it shares.

Thus, everything points to Musk will avoid entering Chinaespecially now, which is focused on Checkout Twitter.
