China will provide energy security for the foreseeable future and refuses to set a specific target for phasing out the use of energy. The country will extract more oil, gas and coal and build up reserves, Prime Minister Li Keqiang announced at the start of an annual session of the National People’s Congress, the Chinese parliament.
