A bloody marital drama took place this morning in front of the adult children and grandchildren – it almost ended fatally for the woman (57). Her husband (59) attacked her with a knife and critically injured her!
Three generations live in the apartment on the first floor on Seestrasse – so far peacefully. But this morning the husband and grandfather suddenly attacked his wife with a knife – and stabbed her several times.
Awakened by noise and screaming, the children looked for their parents. They had to watch as the father injured the mother with the blade! It is currently unclear whether the children were able to tear their father away from their mother.

The fact is: the children alerted the fire department at 3:30 a.m. They immediately sent an ambulance and an emergency doctor.
The woman is currently undergoing surgery in the hospital. Uncertain whether she will survive her injuries. “We currently have no information about her condition. “She is said to have been seriously injured as a result of the attack,” said a police spokeswoman.
The man was also found with serious injuries. Apparently he got it when he jumped out of an apartment window after the attack on his wife. Initially it was said that the woman wanted to save herself from her husband by jumping out of the window.

An investigation is underway to determine whether the man jumped with the intention of committing suicide. It is possible that the impending separation from his wife drove him to the crime. Employees of a social store on the ground floor of the house confirmed to the BZ reporter: “The couple wanted to get a divorce.”
The police did not want to comment on the possible motive for the knife attack. “We assume an attempted homicide in the context of domestic violence,” said a spokeswoman when asked.
