Children are introduced to Ensor at the exhibition in Fort…

At the hands-on exhibition, children will encounter illustrations that give Ensor’s paintings a youthful form. Along the way they also encounter a game of hide and seek where they have to look for forty of Ensor’s masks. Mayor Bart Tommelein is a fan of the exhibition. “Today, as a big, small child, I still discover things every day by Ensor and from one of his periods that I didn’t know yet,” he says. “It is good for children that they are introduced to this and that art and culture also become very accessible.” ‘Great art for small connoisseurs’ will continue until mid-April next year in Fort Napoleon.
