Several male members of a nudist club are said to have taken sexualized nude photos of children and young people.
Hundreds of image files of “naked children in unnaturally sexual postures” are said to have been made by the suspected men, the Berlin police and public prosecutor announced on Tuesday.
The police searched the homes of three men in Berlin, Brandenburg and Lower Saxony on Tuesday morning and confiscated numerous cell phones and computers.
Photos were taken on trips together
The investigation is being carried out on suspicion of producing and possessing depictions of sexual abuse (“child pornography”).
According to the police, the photos have been taken since January 2017 during excursions and multi-day trips by the club with 8 to 18 year olds. Three suspects are between 43 and 62 years old. Another 43-year-old man is being investigated separately.
During the searches, the police used, among other things, a “data carrier sniffer dog”. She found 18 hard drives, 8 notebooks, 6 cell phones, 6 cameras, 3 tablets, a computer and video cassettes.
