Berlin-Marzahn
The child injured in an accident in Berlin-Marzahn a week ago has succumbed to his injuries.
The accident happened on April 12 at around 5 p.m. on Landsberger Allee near Märkische Allee. An Audi driver (59) caught the child when he wanted to cross the street at a traffic light.
It was first treated on site by paramedics and an ambulance and then transported to the accident hospital in Berlin-Marzahn. As the police announced on Tuesday, the child died on Saturday – four days after the accident.
According to the first witness statements, there is a suspicion that the driver drove on red.
