Avery Baker is leaving Tommy Hilfiger for a second time. The manager, who as President and Chief Brand Officer plays a key role at the brand belonging to the US group PVH Corporation, decided to leave the group of companies in the summer to “devote itself to other challenges”, the clothing supplier confirmed on Wednesday Request from FashionUnited. The specialist magazine Textilwirtschaft (TW) had previously reported on Avery’s imminent farewell.

Baker spent more than twenty years of her career at Tommy Hilfiger. From 1998 to 2019, she held various management positions there before saying goodbye for the first time to “devote herself to her family”. She returned to the company in autumn 2020 and has since been responsible for a wide range of tasks as Chief Brand Officer. Among other things, she is responsible for the products, marketing and customer relationships “in all categories, regions and sales channels”.

In a statement, the clothing retailer thanked the outgoing manager for her services to the brand and wished her “all the best for her future endeavors.” Even after Avery’s departure, Martijn Hagman, CEO of Tommy Hilfiger Global and PVH Europe, will continue to run the label, the company said.
