The piece is played in the regional language and can still be seen on Tuesday and Wednesday. Egbert wants to earn some extra money and rents out rooms on the farm. His father, also an Egbert, would have none of that. It seems to be going well anyway. But then there is a hitch in the cable. Schipper and Mrs. Sliphorst are in one room and Sliphorst and Mrs. Schipper are in the other room. All that remains to be done is for them to discover this from each other. By looking at the airily dressed females, widower Egbert senior gets quite upset and he even wants to date such a young woman. However, he does not know that this is his son’s girlfriend.
