Cher wants her 47-year-old son to be guardian: “Elijah’s life is in danger”

Vocalist Cher77, is seeking temporary guardianship of her musician son Elijah Blue to Allman47. In addition, the artist proposes himself as his son’s sole guardian in the application.

CNN– and Sky News -magazines, Cher refers to her son’s alleged substance abuse problems in her application. The application states that Elijah is unable to manage his property due to his serious mental health and substance abuse problems. In addition, the text says that Cher would have done everything to get Elijah the treatment he needed.

– Elijah is entitled to regularly receive funds from the Trust. Petitioner [Cher] is worried that all the money given to Elijah will go to drugs, given his mental health and substance abuse problems. In that case, Elijah would not be able to afford to support himself, in which case Elijah’s life would be in danger, the application emphasizes.

– The petitioner loves Elijah immensely and has always acted in his best interests, the text adds.

The parties are scheduled to be heard in court in March.

Elijah was born to Cheri and by Gregg Allmann during the marriage. The couple was married from 1975 to 1979. Allmann died at the age of 69 of complications from liver cancer in 2017. In addition to Elijah, Cher has Sonny Bono with a child, Chaz Bono54. Cher and Sonny were married for 11 years until they divorced in 1975.

Today, Cheri is rumored to have gotten back together with the rapper of Alexander Edwards, 37, with about half a year after their breakup. The couple had announced their relationship in November 2022. Rumors about the two getting back together started when the couple were seen in intimate moods at fashion weeks in the fall.
