Cheese lovers will go crazy over this delicacy – Ridiculously easy to make

The sheets of frozen puff pastry and the baguette straighten nicely. You can make delicious treats from them, such as crostini or date dumplings.

1. Choose cheese discs of different sizes and flavors depending on the number of people eating. Assemble the cheeses into a tower according to size, so that the bottom disk is the largest and the top disk is the smallest.

2. The cheese tower should be assembled about an hour before serving, when the aromas of the cheeses come out better.

3. Decorate the tower with, for example, fresh herbs, nuts and fruits.

Orange cinnamon crostini

(for 4–8 people)

1 baguette

200 g of ricotta cheese

0.5 dl of grated parmesan

0.25 tsp of salt

0.5 tsp cinnamon

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1 sprig of fresh rosemary, chopped

0.5 dl orange marmalade

0.5 dl shelled pistachios

1. Heat the oven to 200 degrees.

2. Grate the parmesan and chop the rosemary.

3. Combine the ricotta, salt and parmesan together. Mix the oil, cinnamon and rosemary.

4. Slice the bread and spoon the oil mixture over the slices. Raise the oven to the middle level and toast the bread for about five minutes.

5. Spoon the ricotta mixture and marmalade over the cooled bread. Finally, sprinkle crushed nuts on top and, if you like, rosemary.

Date cheese dumplings

(12 pcs)

500 g (6 pcs) ready-made sheets of puff pastry

200 g of soft, stoneless dates

100 g of red cheese

100 g of fresh cheese

0.5 tsp of ground black pepper

1 egg

1 tablespoon of crushed pistachios.

1. Raise the sheets of puff pastry to melt and heat the oven to 200 degrees.

2. Cube the red cheese. Mix the cheese cubes and black pepper into the cream cheese.

3. Cut 12 rectangular pieces from the melted puff pastry.

4. Spoon the cheese mixture into the center of the dough and place a few dates on top.

5. Moisten the sides of the dough with water and wrap them together. Brush with egg.

6. Sprinkle crushed nuts on top and place in the oven on the middle level for about 15 minutes.
