In addition to facts in the areas of study, teaching and research, the ranking includes assessments by students of the study conditions at their university.

“We are pleased that we were able to score points with the students in many different areas,” says Prof. Dr. Andree Elsner, head of the bachelor’s program Business Administration. The students rated both the support at the beginning of their studies (12 out of 16 points) and the contact with professional practice (11 out of 12 points) with top marks.

“It is important to us to support the students in their studies from day one. Personal support through small group sizes also makes a decisive contribution to this,” explains Elsner. The business administration student Christina Eifert: “I find it very encouraging that we learn in small groups. This makes the work more dynamic and the professors can respond to us better. I particularly like the practical excursions. For example, I was able to be part of a trip to the European Central Bank.” In addition, the students indicated that they would complete their bachelor’s degree in “reasonable time” and master to be able to do very well.

In the subject industrial engineering The organization of the studies, the support at the beginning of the course, the contact with professional practice in the bachelor’s degree and the degrees in a reasonable time im Master’s degree particularly well off. The course director Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Lohmann reports: “Especially in the subject combination of business and technology, it is important for our bachelor students to establish contact with professional practice at an early stage. In this way, they understand the role in which they will later work in the company and learn something new for their lives. Our commitment pays off with 12 out of 12 possible points in the ranking!”
