Charly Luske has spoken to a reporter of Shownieuws in a very bizarre way about his marital crisis with Tanja Jess. “I just find this disrespectful.”
Reporter Thom Goderie yesterday attended a football match with B-stars on behalf of Shownieuws. One of the players was Charly Luske, who is currently under fire for cheating on his wife Tanja Jess. She has shared with the whole world that they are in a marital crisis, so it’s all pretty out there.
Weird play
Charly can of course expect to be asked about it at such a celebrity event. “It was of course very strange if we were there and would not ask him about his marital crisis with Tanja Jess, so our reporter Thom did that of course and then there was a very strange reaction,” says expert Bart Ettekoven at the desk.
Thom’s questions about the marital crisis are answered by Charly with a very strange play. When Thom asks something, Charly starts talking about the weather. “Well, it’s been cold and of course it’s getting warmer again, so it’s better football weather of course.”
“Don’t you want to say anything?”
Thom doesn’t understand at all. At first he still thinks it is some kind of imagery from Charly. “Is that what you mean by your relationship?”
Charly then: “No, just what the weather is like. When it’s cold and there’s ice on the field – we were just talking about that – then you slip, you tear everything off… Of course I don’t feel like that, so this is nice. Some even thought it was a bit too warm.”
Colleague BN’er Ferry Somogyi has been standing next to it all this time. “You don’t want to respond to it?” Thom finally asks.
disrespectful
Shownieuws star Ronald Molendijk thinks it’s ridiculous. “We are a show program. That means we need artists too and artists need us too. I mean: we sometimes also make sure that artists can promote an album or, like Dennis is sitting here now, tell a story about a program that is coming.”
He continues: “It’s not always for the best, but it’s just nice that when Tom, who travels around the world for Shownieuws to get quotes … If you treat it like that, then I really think: Charly You will not be welcome here again next year. I just find it really embarrassing. That setup for him…”
“You can just say, ‘I have no announcement for you.’ Finished. Now he is pranking the reporter. (…) I just find this disrespectful to the people who are also there for him.”
‘Why?!’
Dennis van der Geest, guest at Shownieuws, also thinks it’s strange. “If he is going to play football there, you know that people are asking about it. Just said, “I’m not going to get into that.” Apparently this very crazy conversation – which he probably thought: if I do that, it won’t be broadcast – is already content.”
What could Charlie have done better? “He should have said a little more cleverly: ‘Sorry, I’m not going to say anything about this.’ Then it would have been done. (…) But we all understand that that boy is not in the best period of his life.”
Bart: “But not feeling well? We’re just going to pretend he’s pathetic. I think Tanja Jess is the victim here. (…) If you don’t want to, then you say: ‘I don’t want to say anything about it’ and then you walk away. Why are you going to do such a bad play?”
