No.in Italian cinemas from May 4th, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the latest Marvel movie. Starring Benedict Cumberbatch who plays Doctor Strange alongside him has also appeared Charlize Theron who for the occasion plays Clea, a cameo that can only be seen in the credits.
Purple makeup and platinum hair only the look of the witch-ally and lover of the protagonist. An appearance that sets the stage for a sequel to the film and Theron’s ever-increasing presence on the superhero world scene.
Doctor Strange 2, Charlize Theron’s purple beauty look
«Meet Clea» is the title of the last post on Instagram the actress of South African origins who played a cameo in the Marvel film “Doctor Strange 2”.
Clea is the historical girlfriend of the protagonist – who first appeared in comics in 1964 on the pages of Strange Tales # 126. It comes from the universe known as Dark Dimension and is the niece of Dormammu, one of Doctor Strange’s main opponents (and seen in the first movie).

The purple make up made for her was created by Kate Lee, Chanel Makeup Artist and make-up artist of Nicola Peltz at her wedding with Brooklyn Backham. Ideal to enhance the actress’s blue eyes, the makeup mixes various trends giving life to a futuristic beauty look but at the same time absolutely glamorous.
Featuring a upside down makeup the makeup is concentrated in the lower rim of the eye with a long one purple line that stretches outwards almost to simulate a cat eye. Also on the mobile eyelid the eyeshadow (of the same tone) is brought outwards, leaving the central part of the make-up lighter.
Raised eyebrows and bare lips for Clea
The focus of the look is therefore the eyes, also as regards the eyebrows which in this case are combed upwards, recreating the fur-fur effect and opening the actress’s gaze.
As for the rest of the make-up, the base and the lips were left very natural, with a nude lipstick in shades of light pink slightly glossed and a perfectly matte complexion enriched only by a veil of blush on the cheeks.
Platinum blonde, Charlize Theron’s signature look
As for the hair it was Adir Abergel – hairstylist of celebrities and who has always looked after the blonde of the actress – to create Clea’s look.
Always faithful to platinum blondecoloring signature look of the actress was also kept for the Marvel character but drastically lengthening the hair. Very smooth and with a central parting, the Theron has gone from her iconic long bob, to a length beyond the shoulders.
So we just have to wait for the next film, to get to know Clea better and find out how her love story will evolve than the “magical” Doctor Strange.
