Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie visited a local nursing home this week. The royal couple was accompanied by their son, the 2-year-old prince Charles.

Hovi shared a series of photos from the visit on Instagram and on its website. The little prince got to know the operation and environment of the service home out of curiosity.

The toddler marveled at the wheelchairs and walkers and greeted the residents of the house. The elderly welcomed the little royal with joy.

Charles also got to play with adults. The day was also full of delicacies: the photo shows a child dressed in a striped overall tasting a waffle and a strawberry.

Charles, the first child of the Hereditary Grand Duke couple, turned two years old in the spring. Despite his young age, he has already represented several times alongside his parents. On the eve of his birthday in May, the family visited the animal park in Beetebuerger. Charles got to pet and feed the animals.
