FC Eindhoven finally won again in the Kitchen Champion Division. After five consecutive defeats, Telstar won 0-1 in Velsen-Noord. The team of trainer Rob Penders keeps the White Lions behind in the ranking with the victory. FC Den Bosch suffered a historic defeat against PEC Zwolle: 13-0.
Telstar – FC Eindhoven 0-1
With a victory, Telstar would be level with FC Eindhoven in the ranking of the Kitchen Champion Division. The people of Eindhoven did not let that happen. FC Eindhoven had the most grip on the game in the first half. Telstar was dangerous a few times with fast counters.
The only goal of the game came midway through the first half. Charles-Andreas Brym headed FC Eindhoven to a 0-1 lead with a nice pike dive. Shortly before the break, goalkeeper Nigel Bertrams prevented Telstar from leveling with a good save.
After the break, the home team put FC Eindhoven under pressure, but it did not come to an equalizer.
