Actor Charlbi Dean died on Monday at only 32 years old.
South African actor Charlie Dean died suddenly on Monday in New York.
His cause of death has not yet been released, but Dean’s brother Alex Jacobs now tells about the last moments for Rolling Stone magazine.
– She complained of a headache, went to sleep, woke up her boyfriend and asked to be taken to the hospital, Jacobs says.
Dean was in the hospital just a few hours before he died.
– We are not sure what happened. It may take time to figure it out. But we have heard that it might be a viral infection in the lungs.

According to Jacobs, Dean was in a car accident in 2009 and broke his back and ribs. The brother believes that the injuries may have contributed to the death.
Charlbi Dean made his breakthrough this spring as a Swedish director By Ruben Östlund in the movie Triangle of Sadness. The satire won the prestigious Palme d’Or for best film at the Cannes Film Festival in the spring.
