Total panic at TC Television, a public channel in Ecuador: masked and armed men disrupt a live broadcast and force employees to lie on the ground. Shots were heard and one of the journalists was probably stuck with an explosive device. A hospital, a university and two shopping centers have also been stormed. Inmates are now holding prison guards hostage. The country is in a state of emergency because one of the most violent drug criminals has disappeared. It is not yet clear whether there is a connection.
