It is sometimes inexplicable how the tide can turn around a well-known Dutchman. After persistent negative publicity about her disappointing viewing figures, Chantal Janzen has suddenly been given a lot of mud lately. So there is a tweet viral in which the presenter is treated very negatively.

Neptune

With a rather haughty photo of Chantal, one ’10with1gniffel’ writes: “Are you so done with Chantal Janzen? ?” It sounds innocent, but the extent to which this tweet is embraced is worrying.

Partly due to a retweet by the popular columnist Jan Dijkgraaf, this sneer has now reached more than 100,000 people (!). There is also a lot of retweeting, liking and commenting. “This woman can stay out of the picture for a while,” it sounds. And: “Absolutely!! Sound goes off when I hear her. More than enough of this fake aunt.”

Self-mockery

Fortunately, Chantal has a considerable resilience. After a months-long absence from Twitter, she has logged in again to to post a comment under that tweet yourself.

Under the question: ‘Are you also so done with Chantal Janzen? ?’, now also features a reaction from Chantal herself: “Tell me something.”

Many people find it sporty that Chantal reacts so lightly to it. “Chantal for president!” says Jurjen. And Giel: “Treasure of a girl, that Chantal. Fat ?.”

“Great response!”

Mariëlle also thinks Chantal is funny. “Haha, gold!”

Louise: “Great response.”

Wendy: “Look and that’s why I like her a lot. Self-mockery and humour! You can stay with me”

And Biker: “I love it: self-mockery. Replying to stupid tweets and pretending to be crazy. Absolutely great!”
