Chano Moreno Charpentier will be presented for free on the fifteenth Emerging City Festival to develop in the Palermo Woods, from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 October. The former leader of so bionic thus returns to the festival that saw him grow up, an appetizer before his appearance scheduled for next Thursday, November 3 at the moon park.
The singer had confirmed his return to the stage after the serious health problems, to give a show in the mythical space of Avenida Corrientes. “Hello friends, I am happy because we will see each other again, the date is November 3 at Luna Park. Already restored, he will now be the star of the 15th anniversary of the Emerging City Festival, a stage that once served as a springboard. Twenty years ago, in the middle of 2002, was born so bionicwith the guitarist Seby, the bassist bambi (Gonzalo Charpentier) and the drummer Diego (Diego Lichtenstein), the band that would be a refresh for local pop rock.
Three gold and three platinum records, plus the Buenos Aires anthem “Magic City” and the hit “Bionic Girl”, left their marks in the musical imaginary of Argentine rock. The lonely stage of Juana Viale’s ex-boyfriend began in 2016, when the band broke up, and was consolidated with the release of his solo album “El Otro” in 2018.
For a decade and a half, the festival emerging cityorganized by the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires, is a showcase for the youngest local rock and pop bands: for its stages (first in the Recoleta Cultural Center and then in The Art Factory) passed over 400 bandssome of which are consecrated today.

This Emerging City will be held in the former Velodrome of Buenos Aires, behind the Planetarium, with access by Belisario Roldan 4400. Completing 15 years of validity, emerging city proposes to tour and experience the musical and emerging culture of the country in the open air.
Consecrated artists who made their first steps in previous editions of the festival will participate in the meeting. Lula Bertoldi, Brenda Martin, Bambi, An Espil, Celli, Juan Ingaramo, Silvina Moreno and Nashy-Nashaiare some of the musicians who will bring the sound to the public, along with the former Tan Bionica, on Friday, October 7, starting at 9:00 p.m.
The programming of this special edition of a decade and a half focuses on the emerging scene of rock, pop, urban music and indie. More than 100 bands will be present on two opposing platforms at the ends of the property. It is also recommended to tour and experience visuals, sports, performance, fashion and gastronomy. In the urban culture space there will be freestyle, trap, rap, roller and skate tracks, with DJs closing, an attractive and refreshing proposal for the long weekend.
