The Evening Urgant program is not being released yet, since Channel One is now operating in the information mode. This was reported to RBC in the press service of Channel One.

“It’s a lie. The channel is now operating in the information mode, absolutely all entertainment programs are not being released – from “Fashionable Sentence” to “Evening Urgant,” the message says.

About the possible closure of the program earlier stated TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak in Telegram. “According to my source, the decision was made to close Evening Urgant,” she wrote in Teleram.

She later addedthat although Channel One denies everything, “inside the program, people claim the opposite.”

Formerly Head of the Public Relations Directorate of Channel One Larisa Krymova explained “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” why the show was not shown on February 24 like this: “The Evening Urgant program was not planned on the channel in the past days due to holidays, which was originally announced in the grid. The current re-layout is connected with important social and political events. Ivan Urgant, of course, continues to work on the channel.
