Channel Island back in the picture for new Cercle stadium
The Channel Island is a dream location for Cercle supporters, close to the center and the city also saw opportunities there. But that plan was buried two years ago because there was no room for exits next to an 8,000-seat stadium.

Ships Francky Demon now says that the location along the Blankenbergse Steenweg has not yet been abandoned, but that the Channel Island is again an option. The stadium could partly be built over the water.
