Changeable week: from sun to rain and thunder

The day starts with a shower, but it doesn’t stay that way all day. We are in the middle of a changeable week and according to the forecast of NH weatherman Jan Visser it will remain that way.

Although it may rain this morning, no large amounts are falling from the sky. “This afternoon there are periods of sun and it will remain dry almost everywhere,” says Visser. At sea it will be about 20 degrees today and further into the province it will be 22 degrees. On the coast today the wind is quite strong from the southwest.

Thunderstorms are coming this way again tonight. “Several showers tomorrow morning with a chance of thunder,” the weatherman predicts. “Tomorrow afternoon the sun will come out again and it will usually remain dry.” It will be about 19 to 21 degrees. It will feel a bit chilly on the beach of Texel, it can get quite windy there.

Friday, when the summer holidays start for most children in North Holland, it will be nice and warm, about 24 to 25 degrees. Visser predicts that it will be sunny and dry in most places.

Rain and thunder

That is not the case for long. It will rain and thunder again on Saturday, but when is not entirely clear. “If it comes a little later in the day, it will be more than 25 degrees,” says Visser. “But if it comes earlier, the temperature will be a bit disappointing.”

Sunday will be a windy day, according to the weatherman. “A fairly strong wind above land and a strong to strong wind from the southwest on the coast.” The chance that it will rain is small and it will be about 22 degrees.
