For the second time since 2019, when De Ligt left Ajax for €85.5m for Turin, the Dutchman would position himself in the top 5 most expensive centre-backs in football history. With a total of 155.5 million euros, de Ligt would not only be the Dutchman, but also the defender with the highest transfer earnings. De Ligt, who still has a contract with Juve until June 30, 2024, is reportedly set to receive a five-year contract with Bayern Munich until 2027.
