For European Championship qualification
Hidajet Hankic will play for the Bosnian national team in the future. The 29-year-old goalkeeper, who is currently under contract with Botev Plovdiv in Bulgaria, was nominated by national coach Savo Milosevic for the upcoming final European Championship qualifiers against Luxembourg and Slovakia.
Hankic was born in Pongau and then grew up in Carinthia. However, the former Innsbruck Bundesliga professional was never used for Austrian youth national teams.
Hertha’s Haris Tabakovic is also there for the first time. The 29-year-old attacker was born in Switzerland and played a total of 25 times for Swiss junior teams from U18 to U21. The ex-Austrian recently played for the German second division team with twelve goals in as many appearances this season.
