Change of Franziska Preuss confirmed

One of the most successful biathletes in Germany is breaking new ground: Franziska Preuss will be using a different outfitter from the upcoming World Cup season.

New material, new luck? Like numerous other biathletes, Franziska Preuss has decided to rely on a new outfitter from the coming season.

Instead of hitting the trail with skis from the Fischer company, next winter the German will wear material from the well-known winter sports brand Rossignol under her shoes. The French company announced the collaboration with the 28-year-old on Sunday.

French grab several biathlon stars

Preuss is the youngest “Rossignol” newcomer, after the manufacturer had already successfully tried to attract other biathletes in the past few days and weeks. The new customers of the French company include the Swede Stina Nilsson, the French Caroline Colombo and her teammate Emilien Claude, the Norwegian Simen Myhre and the Swede Zak Ketterson.

Despite the prominent newcomers, “Rossignol” is still behind “Fischer” in the favor of most biathlon stars. The German company has almost all well-known biathletes under contract. The Norwegian dominators Johannes Thingnes and Tarjei Bö as well as Tiril Eckhoff are part of the “Fischer” team.

The German team also relies mainly on the material from the “Fischer” forge. In addition to Denise Herrmann, Philipp Horn, Johannes Kühn and Philipp Nawrath are also under contract. Laura Dahlmeier and Magdalena Neuner, who have already resigned, also trusted the German company’s material.
